SC VAT'33 is a free social running club in Vathorst, Amersfoort. Every Wednesday we run ±5 km together at chatting pace, with a run captain in front and a sweeper at the back, so nobody gets left behind. Afterwards we sit down at Tjaps. New in town? Most people come alone the first time.

Good to know
Do I need to speak Dutch?
No. The club is Dutch-speaking, but you're very welcome. Just say you're new when you arrive and we'll introduce you to your run captain.
I've never run 5 km. Can I join?
Yes. We run at chatting pace, walking is fine, and the sweeper stays at the back. Every ±2 km we wait for each other.
Do I have to sign up?
Membership is free and takes 30 seconds (the form is in Dutch). After that you tap 'Loop mee' on a run so we know how many runners to expect.
What do I bring?
Running shoes, your phone, and from October to March a reflective vest or light (we have a few to borrow).
What happens after the run?
We sit down at Tjaps for water, a soft drink, a 0.0 or — if you're 18 or over — a beer. Staying is optional.
